Business Plan Summary Example

This business plan summary has a track record. It got five million dollars worth of funding for a company in late 1999. The company did have a product and some sales but went out of business in spring 2001. Names have been redacted out, since I did not get it from the people in the company but rather from a friend who said he had the permission of the people who wrote it give it to me.

This document is important for its format, the information it includes and its wording. The actual company and their fate is unimportant. The document accomplished its goal when they got funding.

It is probably a good idea to download this example now in case the people who wrote it ever find it and ask me to take it down. Hopefully if they do find their document they will realize that its existence on this site to help other entrepreneurs may be the only lasting legacy of their company and will permit me to continue to share it with others for educational purposes.
